Two people were killed in a shooting in Lauderhill on Thursday night, authorities said. According to Lauderhill police, officers responded to the 2000 block of Northwest 43rd Terrace at around 11:07 p.m. for reports of gunfire. When officers arrived, they made contact with two adults who had suffered gunshot wounds. Police said one of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene by fire rescue personnel. The other person was taken to Broward Health Medical Center, but did not survive. Their names were not immediately released. Officials said the motive for the gunfire is unknown and, so far, no suspect has been identified.
